The Insurance Operations segment writes commercial lines and personal lines property and casualty insurance through independent insurance agents in 22 states in the Eastern and Midwestern regions of the United States.
Selective competes with Cincinnati Financial, Ohio Casualty, Harleysville, St. Paul Travelers, The Hartford, Zurich Financial Services, GEICO and Progressive.
